Beach Trip

We went to the beach this last weekend with our friends Kali and Kyle. The weather was beautiful, cool when the wind picked up, but sunny! We just relaxed around Pacific City. It was nice to not have a schedule to keep and to just go with whatever we felt like doing.

Art Day

Halle got this really neat gift from Aunt Pam and Uncle Rom for her birthday. I thought it would be a good time to bring it out and have an art day. This is really cute. It plays music, teaches colors, lines, squiggles, zig zags, waves and dots. The colors are these cute little animals figures with cute names like; Uh Oh orange, goody green, yaa hoo yellow, roary red and achoo blue. I loved the coloring part, but Halle was more into the animals. She just kept lining them up perfectly in front of her so that she could see them all. I tried to show her how to color with them and she just was content playing with her friends without the coloring.

Oh and the color washes off really easily

Balloons Anyone???

So we brought these balloons home from a party. At first Halle wasn't to sure about the quantity, but it only took a couple minutes for her to figure out that they squeak, bounce, float(well kind of, they were bundled together), echoed when you put your mouth on them and make noises. Oh ya, we had fun. Although, she kept wanting to bit them and we just kept saying"what if the balloon pops"? Thankfully they didn't and all was well in the Harris house!
